The Center for Responsible Business is supported by a senior advisory board, a faculty board, and many student volunteers who all play a vital role in our success. Founded in 2003, CRB was launched at Haas with the support and vision of a strong founding board.
CRB’s Senior Advisory Board provides strategic guidance and oversight, assists in securing operational funds, represents CRB to their business networks for partnership and collaboration, and provides CRB with a clear vision and mission.

Members of the Board are alumni of Haas’ undergraduate and MBA programs who embody a diversity of functional areas, industries, and experience in the corporate responsibility, social enterprise, and sustainability space. Board members hail from organizations including the software firm Autodesk, California energy giant Chevron, venture firm Nth Power, social enterprise PACT, and consultancy SustainAbility.
T he board advises the Center on strategy and programming, providing a valuable outside-in perspective on the changing landscape of corporate responsibility and sustainability in industry and in other business schools. The board also develops and administers the new CRB Alumni Scholarship, serving as judges, fundraisers, and mentors to students who receive the Scholarship. Board members also individually advise current Haas students on job search and career development strategies.
