Robert's teaching and research focuses on the strategic aspects of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability, comparing global approaches to CSR and sustainability with particular focus on the U.S. and Scandinavia, and theory of the firm topics that include the ethics of the corporation.
Director & Lecturer, Human Rights & Business Initiative
Faris Natour leads the Human Rights and Business Initiative for the Center for Responsible Business. He brings more than a dozen years of experience in human rights and business to Haas, having led the human rights practice at Business for Social Responsibility (BSR) and human rights research and advocacy at Calvert Investments.
Seren Pendleton-Knoll is a graduate of UC Berkeley, with a Masters of Development Practice emphasizing private sector solutions. Her thesis analyzed innovations in financing for small businesses.
Dara McKenzie is the program coordinator for the CRB and the International Business Development (IBD) Program. Early in her career, Dara worked as a teller manager in Boston for five years, where she led a team at one of the fastest- growing banks in the region.
Emily received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oregon in Environmental Studies and Business Administration. She spent the start of her career on the Development & Partnerships team at Net Impact where she worked closely with social and environmental impact leaders at major corporations.
